'Eyelashes are the thing of beauty' - In the Style
Mary Katrantzou SS16 the models lashes were coated in mascara in the middle so that they were thick and clumpy. Then painted them in electric blue, turquoise and Burgandy MAC acrylics. To create 'a distorted but cute doll' look. As blue is a trend for the upcoming season many artists used this in a creative process and used it in the lashes.

Wispy lashes and huge clumpy false eyelashes were also seen throughout SS16 catwalks. Louis Vuitton, Marni and Thomas Tait all opted for the false lash effect but utilized it in different ways. From thin long ans wispy to corner lashes, to thick clumpy bottom lashes.

Also this season sees the revival of 60's inspired twiggy lashes. SS16 is all about modern twists so make up artists across fashion week have been coming up with different ideas t bring in the past to the present. The bottom lashes were drawn on roughly to give a 'hand drawn' feel.
