SS16 Hair Trends - Braids and Twists

Different deisgners had there differernt take on this years hair trend. Valentino took to the catwalk with big tribal braids, cornrows and dreadlocked. It again brough in other trends sucb as the 'revival of the 60's'. The hair took it back to when in the 60's and 70's many wanted to travel and the catwalks show the diferent cultures. Textured braids are definatly in this season and feature in most of the catwalks but in their own indivudual styles.

Paris Fashion Week reflected styles of braids which had taken inspiration from the heavily embellishes, textured garments. Redkens Creative Director Guido Palau drew inpspirations from many cultures when deciding a design, these styles had very intricate looks.

Hair braids are meant to empoweer woman who choose to wear them. This trend appears across all four fashion weeks; Milan, Paris, New York and London and is set to stay. Braids have made a stong come back for 2016, many would think that braids are what children wear and many wouldnt dare wear them past 20. But the trend is set to be big.
