Zac Posens most recent Spring/summer 2015 collection, was recently showcased at New York Fashion Week. His aim with the collection was to really show off femininity, the sexy, classy elegant pieces really do represent the womanly figure.
This year Zac Posens theme is 'Creating for the working woman'.

The colour scheme was mainly, white and ivory to represnt the pure natural women and the red and blacks represnting thw sexy, smouldery woman; this showing two sides to every person. The collection features square cut dresses, jackets and trousers. This to further emphasise the shape of a woman; reflecting the hourglass fugure. Satin, is featured heavily throughout looking luxurious and classy.

Kabuki, was the head desinger and make up artist for this show. He used mainly MAC products to create this look, utilizing his make up knowledge to come up with such a flawless outcome. The face is left extremly dewy creating that almost wet look. The brows have been brushed upwards with minimal effort, again to capture the busy working woman theme. A shimmer, glossy look eyeshadow i believe has been used to tie in with the fresh skin. Thin layer of mascara was used just to finish the eyes on both the top and bottom lashes, ensuring they look as natural as possible. The lips were a bold statement in this look, with bold burnt orange red lips with strong defintnition and a highlighted cupids bow. The red really did tie in with the elegant yet sophisticated look. A light pastel orange was used on the lids just to give a tiny bit of colour.

Oldie Gilbert was the mastermind behind the wet look hair. The hair was slicked back with alt of gel to give tha wet look. The sides of the hair were scraped back and pulled tight, whilst the top of the hair had a slight wave and a bit more volume to it. The key part of this look was to show the face off. The wet look hair gives that rushed look, yet keeping it sophisticated by pulling it away and off the face.

Overall, i think the make up and hair compliment the collection very well. They give off the sophisticated woman that everyone has inside of them. The wet look hair compliments the look as it shows that with minimal effort, you can still take pride in your apperance.
